This Christmas, I actually had a photoshoot at China Camp, with this wonderful family - it just so turned out that this was the only day that everyone was together, and I was available to shoot on Christmas Day. Thank you David for your generosity!Read More
This year I ordered a coffee mug for each Family Session - here is about half of the order. Each mug was customized through Vista Print, and has 4 images of my choosing on the mug, and the year. I feel so blessed to be able to send a little something to my clients this year. I appreciate them, and I want them to know it!Read More

Blackies Pasture in Tiburon, offers an array of settings, but only at the right time of day. You don't want to book a shoot at high noon, so the best times are early morning, and golden hour - just before sunset.Read More

On a rare occasion, I'll take a house-call for family photos, and this time I totally scored with Meghan and Carson's house, as it offered us multiple scenes, and the lighting was in a cooperative mood. Typically house-calls are only reserved for newborn shoots, as I do not know the layout and light of your house, and I like to scout and map my shoots beforehand. Thank you M & C - it was so awesome finally meeting baby! I first met Meghan in March, when she was pregnant with Ryan. Coincidentally, Ryan was born on my due-date, so it was cool seeing into the future of my family that Nick and I are creating.Read More
Sarah & Aaron have been my friends for YEARS - But for some reason, we've let YEARS go by without taking pics of their kids. This year was different! I feel so honored to capture this family and also document their NEW PUPPY! Nothing like a beautiful family and a Berner Puppy for CLICKBAIT! xoxoxo aniseRead More
I've been taking pictures of this fun family for 3 years now, and every year they manage to color coordinate with the location PERFECTLY. This year we chose the ridge the divides the San Rafael Sun Valley neighborhood, with the Terra Linda side of San Rafael. It has multiple names: Ridgewood Trail, Sleepy Hollow Terra Linda Divide, Sorich Ranch.... All of those names work! Thank you P Family for your continued support.Read More
Online Dating profile pics are a favorite of mine, because we get a few outfit changes, and its always fun trying to capture someone's true self. Here are some images from a recent shoot that took place at China Camp Village, in Marin County.Read More
I love it when a family is so perfectly color coordinated! They took a leap with the mustard yellow accent, and putting both men in plaid that compliments each other. I love mixtures of patterns and materials too. This shoot was scheduled for a mother who has recently changed her title to Grandmother, with 2 adorable new babies under 1 year old. An extended shoot is more of a bargain, and is perfect for when relatives are in town. Two of these families were not from the Bay Area. The Extended Family shoot package is $450, and can be divided amongst the family members, so everyone walks away with at least 20 images per family. This shoot produced a staggering 195 images in a little under 1 hour of shooting! Thank you Felicia for booking a shoot with me, and thank you ENTIRE FAMILY for helping make these babies smile from behind the lens. xoxoxo AniseRead More
The pictures are beautiful! You truly captured Josie's little (big) personality. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience and turning these around so quickly. I am so happy that we now have these great shots for our memories of this special time with her.
Now the hardest part is going to be picking which photo for the card! Let me know where we should send it!Read More
Well China Camp sure is the hidden gem this year, isn't it?!? Here we have Chloe, a daughter from Sacramento. Her parents and I have our outfit changes down to a science, so we were able to fit a few looks into one mini-shoot. Thank you Chloe for being an absolute sweetheart.
Note from Chloe's Dad: Thank you Anise. These photos of Chloe are wonderful! Let us know if you are ever in the Sacramento area to take some photos.
