This year I met up with the B family over Thanksgiving break at their vacation rental in Marshall, California! What a treat it was - the kids all smiled for every pic, the lighting was GORGEOUS, and they indulged me in a couple of poses that weren't soo traditional. I am so blessed to have such a fun, carefree group of clients. Thank you B family, it was a treat!Read More
Point Bonita, in the Marin Headlands is a perfect place for a portrait session - even if the lighthouse isn't open (which is usually isn't). This location offers coastal, forests, graffiti covered bunkers and great silhouette options! This was a full hour of shooting - my standard shoot, listed under pricing.Read More
This little guy was in the best mood, and totally game for every picture pose we created. China Camp has been the dreamiest location this year, I love the light, and it has only been crowded once during the busy holiday card season.Read More
I swear partially cloudy days are the best for pics. This shoot took place at the Sleepy Hollow / Terra Linda Divide in San Rafael - this starts at the end of Ridgewood Drive in the Sun Valley Neighborhood. We had the hills to ourselves, and it was a group effort in terms of posing - half of these poses were Luke's (pictured here standing on the rock) idea!Read More
Every year, these sisters hire me to take pics for both of their families, and this year it was festive and entirely too much fun as the kids are filled with tons of jokes, smiles, hugs, & laughter. Thank you for your continued support C & S families!Read More

You are not going to believe this when I say it, but this here is Walter - one of Harolds best friends. We met this family when Harold was a puppy, and they were so in love with him, that they offered to puppysit. We took them up on the offer, and as one of our many thank you's I offered to take pics of the boys.Read More

Here's to many more.Read More

There are some weddings that change you, in a way, or remind you of parts of yourself that are your best parts, and that is the major draw for myself in shooting weddings. This wedding reminded me of the beauty of Paul Simon Graceland, being barefoot is underrated, and that food served in courses over the night with drinks and friends is really one of the most joyous things around. I feel like the Nora Ephron inside of me was bright and abundant. I never want to forget this wedding party.

Perfect way to end a dual wedding with a feast & friends. Thank you Asher & Isa!
Asher & Isa hired me in March to cover 2 weddings: the first for family in Oakland, and the second for friends in Tomales, California. This first wedding was filled with family, and close friends, a catered taco truck, flowers, and bright colors. It was incredible to see all of the families together, giving their love to these two dynamic individuals.
Thank you A & I - it was a pleasure!Read More
I was asked to cover a unique assignment: the releasing of doves to commemorate this families grandmothers birthday. Honestly I'd never covered a dove release, but was up for the challenge. The entire experience ended up being so positive, and moving. I was swallowing tears as I snapped pictures, and feel like I've made new friends. Thank you for asking me to capture your family at the Golden Gate Bridge this July. It was an honor!Read More
This is my third shoot for Marin Ventures. They hire me annually to cover events, and this year added their summer picnic to the schedule. It was a moving event, filled with laughter, and so much love. What a special place that exists for those who need it. There was live music, games, food, and the staff was so happy and generous.Read More
